Remove the caliper by unscrewing the mounting bolts (2).
Warning!
- Never reuse brake fluid that was left over from a previous change or that has been stored for a long time to avoid damage to the brake system.
- Brake fluid leaks threaten safe driving and damage paintwork. Therefore, check the hoses and connections for leaks.
Remove the brake pads (section 5-39).
Remove the spring.
Remove the brake caliper mount.
Using compressed air, remove the pistons from the caliper (first cover the pistons with a rag).
Warning! To avoid piston failure, do not use very high pressure.
Remove piston seals (seals and anthers).
Warning! Do not reuse removed seals to avoid brake fluid leaks.
