Place motorcycle on its centre stand.
Remove plug from coolant temperature sensor (1).
Remove coolant-temperature sensor (2).
Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
Tightening torque:
- Temperature sensor: 15 Nm

Drain coolant. See Group 00.
Place motorcycle on its centre stand.
