Air filter housing — removal and installation (Honda CB400SF/1)

To remove the air filter housing, first remove the seat (see "Seat - removal and installation"), fuel tank (see "Fuel tank - removal and installation"), side panels (see "Side panels - removal and installation") and the carburetor bar (see "Carburetor bar - removal and installation").

Removal

1. Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the bolts securing the air filter housing to the motorcycle frame.



2. Move the air filter housing back and remove it from the frame, lifting it upwards.

Installation

We install the air filter housing in the reverse order.
