To remove the expansion tank, you must first remove the right side trim (see "Side panels - removal and installation").

If the coolant has been completely drained from the system, we proceed to remove the expansion tank; if the system is full, it is permissible to drain the liquid only from the tank itself and the supply hoses (see "Coolant - replacement").

Removal

1. Using a 12 mm wrench, unscrew the bolt securing the tank to the frame.

2. Using pliers, remove the spring clamp and remove the upper pipe from the tank fitting.

3. Using pliers, remove the spring clamp and similarly remove the lower pipe.

Installation

Installation is carried out in reverse order.

We fill the expansion tank with fresh coolant up to the upper mark on the body, check the tightness of the tank and pipe connections.
