Cylinder head — removal (Kawasaki ZX600-J1)

Drain the coolant (see Cooling System chapter).

Remove:

• Cylinder Head Cover (see Cylinder Head Cover Removal)
• Camshaft Chain Tensioner (see Camshaft Chain Tensioner Removal)
• Camshafts (see Camshaft Removal)
• Water Temperature Sensor Lead Connector [A]
• Oil Hose Banjo Bolt [B]

Remove the 6 mm cylinder head bolts [A], and then the 10 mm cylinder head bolts [В].



Take off the cylinder head.
