- Fill the brake reservoir to the top line.
- Cover the tank with a lid to keep debris out.
- Attach a tube to the vent valve and lower the other end into a receiving container.
Front brake
Press the brake lever several times and hold it. Loosen the air release valve a quarter turn and bleed the brake fluid into the receiving container; the brake lever is «will sag» to the steering wheel handle. Then close the air release valve and press the brake lever again several times, and loosen the air release valve again. Repeat this procedure until air bubbles no longer appear in the leaking liquid.
Note. While bleeding the brakes, monitor the level of brake fluid in the reservoir and replenish it if necessary.
Close the air release valve and disconnect the hose. Fill the reservoir with brake fluid to the upper mark in the inspection window.
Air release valve: 7.5 N.m (0.75 kgf-m).
Attention! Handle brake fluid with care: brake fluid is aggressive to paint, plastic, rubber, etc.
Rear brake
The difference in the rear brake bleeding method is that the rear brake cylinder is pedal actuated.
