Attention
For more effective braking, use the front and rear brakes at the same time. Using only one of the brakes reduces braking power. Never apply the brakes too hard as this may lock the wheels and cause you to lose control of the motorcycle. Always brake before turning, not while turning. During rain and on slippery surfaces, traction is reduced and accidental wheel locking by the brakes will occur with less effort. In such conditions, use the brakes even more carefully.
Any sudden maneuvers may result in loss of control.
On long descents, shift to a lower gear and use the engine to brake. Use the brakes occasionally as needed. Constant braking results in overheating of the friction surfaces and a dangerous reduction in braking efficiency.
Tire pressure below the recommended level reduces braking performance, interferes with steering accuracy, and reduces traction when cornering.
Braking during a turn is almost always unacceptable, especially with the front brake. Such actions can lead to falls. Always try to brake before you start the turn.
