Attention! Failure to perform these checks may result in damage to the motorcycle and/or injury to the rider.
Check the following before starting the engine.
Fuel level in tank
Check how much fuel is in the tank. Refuel at necessity (Here).
Engine oil level
Check the oil level in the engine crankcase through the inspection window. Add oil if necessary (Here).
Brake and clutch fluid levels
Check fluid levels in appropriate containers.
Tire condition
Check tire pressure and condition (Here).
Controls
Press the brake and clutch control levers, change gears and turn the accelerator control handle. Make sure everything is working fine.
Lighting devices and indication
Make sure the lights, indicators and horn are working properly. Replace burnt out lamps (Here).
Locks
Check that the fuel filler cap is closed and the seat is secure.
Side support
Make sure that the side support moves without jamming and that it locks in the correct positions.
Attention! If failures or irregularities are detected, do not start the motorcycle engine. Contact your Ducati dealer or authorized service center for assistance.
