Remove
End Cap
1. See Figure 6-21. Remove end cap
- a. Remove screws (8).
- b. Remove end cap (1).
Muffler
1. See Figure 6-21. Remove muffler.
- a. Discard clamp (6).
- b. Remove locknuts (4) and washers (3).
- c. Remove muffler (7).
- d. Remove screws (2).
Install

| Muffler nuts | 25.0-30.0 Nm | 19-22 ft·lbs |
End Cap
1. See Figure 6-21. Install end cap.
- a. Install end cap (1).
- b. Install screws (8). Tighten securely.
Muffler
1. See Figure 6-21. Install muffler.
- a. Loosely install new clamp (6) to end of muffler.
- b. Install muffler (7) to bracket (5) with screws (2), washers (3) and locknuts (4). Tighten finger-tight.
- c. Tighten clamp (6) to 52.0-58.0 Nm (39-42 ft·lbs).
- d. Tighten locknuts (4) to 25.0-30.0 Nm (19-22 ft·lbs).
