Extract the plastic plugs from two ends of the swinging arm pivot.
To free the swinging arm pivot shaft, remove one of the two circlips locking the shaft to the end of the swinging arm.
Loosen the bolts (1) of the shaft clamps on the swinging arm.
Working from the left side, use a suitably sized drift to drive the pivot shaft out until half of the shaft is out.
Raise the upper screw by about half of its length and insert the service support 88713.1040 on the right side.
Tighten the bolt (1) on the right hand side clamp of the swinging arm to clamp the service support in place.
Remove the swinging arm pivot shaft and the upper bolt completely.
Insert the other support from the left side and clamp it in place with bolt (1). The frame and swinging arm are now positioned ready for reassembly of the engine.
Remove the engine block.
Note. For disassembly, overhaul and reassembly of engine components, see the "Engine" section.
