- Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure: pay particular attention to the following.
Caution: When installing, always use new micro-encapsulated nut.
- Tighten fastener securing fork bridge to frame with socket and adapter for socket-head screw, BMW No. 315600.
Tightening torques:
- Fork bridge to frame (clean thread, use new nut or Loctite 2701) — 130 Nm
- Fixed tube to fork bridge — 45 Nm
