
Unscrew the retaining screws on the timing belt covers.

Loosen the retaining screws and remove the adjustable tensioner of each belt.

To extract the belts, also remove the fixed tensioner.

Mark the outside surface of each belt with an arrow indicating the rotation direction (anti-clockwise) and a reference indicating the cylinder on which it is fitted (V or O).

Only remove the belt by hand (Do not remove using tools).
Caution! Tight bends (minimum radius 20 mm/0.78 in.), oil, fuel or solvents cause permanent damage to the toothed belts.
Secure the pulley using service tool 88700.5644.

Unscrew the pulley ring nut using the bush supplied with service tool.

Remove the spring washer, the toothed pulley, the key and the guide washer from the cam shaft.
