Reassembly timing belts (Ducati ST2)

As it must be rotated, fit service tool 88713.0123 on the left side of the crankshaft.

Rotate the crankshaft until the reference on the pulley is aligned with the reference on the clutch cover.



Turn the cam shaft pulleys until the reference on the pulley is aligned with the reference on the rubber cap.



Position the timing belts by hand only. If you are refitting the previously removed belt, position it with the arrow in the rotation direction (anticlockwise). The belt must be changed every time the engine is overhauled.

Adjust the tension as described in the "Settings and adjustments" section.
