Check that the flexible centring pins are between every cap and connecting rod.
Fit the cap and connecting rod with markings on the same side.
Lubricate heavily with engine oil and position the connecting rods and caps on the crankshaft.
Insert the fork feeler gauge 88765.1000 (available with shims of 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3 mm) between the connecting rods. This measures the axial clearance between the connecting rods and the crankshaft.
Connecting rod/crankshaft axial clearance: 0.15-0.35 mm
Use new retaining screws and lubricate the thread and the shank with prescribed grease.
Tighten them, using a torque wrench, in three steps until you obtain the specified torque values.
Remove the feeler gauge.
