Disconnect and connect
Disconnect
1. Press the release button.
2. Pull the connector housings apart.
Connect
1. Align the connector housings.
2. Press the housings together until the lock clicks into place.
Remove terminal

1. File the edge of a TERMINAL EXTRACTOR (Part No. B-50085) to a 45 degree angle.
2. Sumitomo DL sealed connectors: Pry secondary lock away from connector.
3. See Figure A-24. Remove terminal from housing.
- a. Insert the extractor into the cavity next to the terminal.
- b. Press and hold the plastic tang (1) away from the terminal (3).
- c. Gently pull the wire to remove the terminal from the connector housing (2).
Install terminal
1. Align terminal to the housing. Install the terminal into the housing. Terminal snaps into place.
2. Gently pull wire to verify terminals are locked.
3. Sumitomo DL sealed connectors: Install secondary lock into connector.
