Prepare
1. Remove main fuse. See Power disconnect.
2. If removing turn signal lamp, remove fuel tank. See Fuel tank.
Remove
Bulb
1. See Figure 8-28. Remove bulb.
- a. Remove lens screw (3).
- b. Remove lens (4).
- c. Remove bulb.
Lamp
1. See Figure 8-27. Disconnect turn signal connectors (1, 2).
2. See Figure 8-28. Remove turn signal lamp.
- a. Remove screw (2) and nut (1).
- b. Remove turn signal lamp.
Install

| Turn signal housing screws, front | 9.0-11.0 Nm | 80-97 in·lbs |
Bulb
1. See Figure 8-28. Install bulb.
- a. Install bulb.
- b. Install lens (4).
- c. Install lens screw (3). Tighten to 0.6-0.8 Nm (5-7 in·lbs).
Lamp
1. See Figure 8-28. Install turn signal lamp.
- a. Install turn signal lamp.
- b. Install housing screw (2) and nut (1). Tighten to 9.0-11.0 Nm (80-97 in·lbs).
2. See Figure 8-27. Connect turn signal connectors (1,2).

1. Install fuel tank, if removed. See Fuel tank.
2. Install main fuse. See Power disconnect.
Warning: Be sure that all lights and switches operate properly before operating motorcycle. Low visibility of rider can result in death or serious injury.
3. Check operation of all lamps.
