Prepare



1. Remove front belt guard. See Belt guards.

2. Disconnect negative battery cable. See Power disconnect.

Remove



1. See Figure 4-7. Remove rear engine mount.
  • a. Support engine.
  • b. Remove screws (4).
  • c. Remove bolts (5).
  • d. Remove rear engine mount (3).
  • e. Remove flag nuts (6).

Install



FASTENERTORQUE VALUE
Rear engine mount screw, to frame22.5-27.5 Nm17-20 ft·lbs
Rear engine mount bolt, to engine42.7-47.3 Nm32-34 ft·lbs

1. See Figure 4-7. Install rear engine mount.
  • a. Align rear engine mount (3).
  • b. Loosely install screws (4) to frame (1).
  • c. Insert flag nuts (6) to frame.
  • d. Loosely install bolts (5) to engine (2).
  • e. Tighten screws to 22.5-27.5 Nm (17-20 ft·lbs).
  • f. Tighten bolts to 42.7-47.3 Nm (32-34 ft·lbs).

Inspect



1. Check engine mounts.
  • a. Check that all engine mount bolts and screws are tight.
  • b. Check for cracks or damage. Verify that the mounts are supporting the weight of the motor. Replace as necessary.

Complete



1. Connect negative battery cable. See Power disconnect.

2. Install front belt guard. See Belt guards.
