Prepare
1. Remove main fuse. See Power disconnect.
2. Lift rear of fuel tank. See Lift rear of fuel tank.
3. Remove air cleaner assembly. See Air cleaner assembly.
4. Remove breather hoses. See Breather hoses.
5. Remove induction module. See Induction module.
Remove
1. See Figure 4-8. Remove intake adapter assembly.
- a. Remove clamp (2).
- b. Remove screws (3).
- c. Remove intake adapter assembly (1).

Install

1. See Figure 4-8. Install intake adapter assembly.
- a. Install intake adapter assembly (1).
- b. Install screws (3). Tighten to 10.0-12.0 Nm (89-106 in·lbs).
- c. Install clamp (2). Do not tighten.
Clean and inspect
1. Clean all parts thoroughly.
2. Inspect rubber intake adapter for cracks or tears. Replace as necessary.
Complete
1. Install induction module. See Induction module.
2. Install breather hoses. See Breather hoses.
3. Install air cleaner assembly. See Air cleaner assembly.
4. Secure rear of fuel tank. See Lift rear of fuel tank.
5. Install main fuse. See Power disconnect.
