Warning!
- Make sure the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately supported.
- A correctly supported motorcycle will help prevent it from falling.
- An unstable motorcycle may fall, causing injury to the operator or damage to the motorcycle.
Note: Check the condition of the shim before use. Do not use a shim which is bent or damaged.
1. Position the wheel speed sensor to the fork leg with its shim between the sensor and fork leg. Tighten the fixing to 9 Nm.
Caution! Care must be taken when fitting the wheel speed sensor harness cover, not to trap the harness between the cover and fork leg.
2. Route the sensor harness into its channel on the left fork leg as noted for removal. Refit the harness cover and secure with three new fixings. Tighten the fixings to 2 Nm.
3. Route the remaining length of harness and secure to the brake hose clips and caliper bleed screw cap as noted for removal.
4. Connect the wheel speed sensor multiplug.
