Removal
Warning: Before starting work, ensure the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately supported. This will help prevent it from falling and causing injury to the operator or damage to the motorcycle.
1. Remove the front wheel (see page 15-10).
Warning: Damage to the wheel centre could cause misalignment of the wheel when refitted. A dangerous riding condition leading to an accident could result if this warning is ignored.
2. Support the wheel on blocks as illustrated below.

3. Remove and discard the five disc bolts and remove the pulser ring.

Inspection
1. Check the pulser ring for damage, missing or cracked teeth or distortion. Renew the pulser ring as necessary.
Installation
1. Locate the pulser ring on to the wheel, fit new disc bolts and tighten to 22 Nm.
2. Refit the front wheel (see page 15-10).
3. Check, and if necessary, adjust the air gap between the front wheel speed sensor and the pulser ring (see page 14-38).
4. Check that the brakes operate correctly.
