Prepare



1. Remove main fuse. See Power disconnect.

2. Remove headlamp fairing. See Headlamp fairing.

3. Detach handlebar from lower riser. See Removing and installing handlebar.

Remove



1. See Figure 8-16. Disconnect speedometer connectors.

2. See Figure 8-17. Remove speedometer.
  • a. Remove screws (1).
  • b. Remove discharge plate (3).
  • c. Remove speedometer (2).

Install



FASTENERTORQUE VALUE
Speedometer screws10.8-13.2 Nm96-116 in·lbs

1. See Figure 8-17. Install speedometer.
  • a. Install speedometer (2).
  • b. Install discharge plate (3).
  • c. Install screws (1). Tighten to 10.8-13.2 Nm (96-116 in·lbs).

2. See Figure 8-16. Connect speedometer connectors.

1. Install handlebar. See Removing and installing handlebar.
